Camp Wingmann was originally founded in1939 as a place set aside for kids to come and have fun while growing in their faith in Christ.It is located on forty-two beautiful acres wrapping around Trout Lake, four miles North of Avon Park.The rustic buildings are mostly nestled under moss-draped live oaks.The Lodge and all cabins are air conditioned.Everyday is filled with lots of games and camp activities as well as daily chapel and times of Bible study.Recreation opportunities include swimming, kayaking, tubing, basketball, the ropes coarse and much more.The camp programs are staffed with college-age Christian counselors, adult program directors, Episcopal priests as Chaplain, and a nurse.The Rev.
