Pregnancy Crisis Center
The Pregnancy Crisis Center is a non-profit, non-denominational, non-political counseling/referral center of volunteers. They are supported solely by individuals and area churches so they can offer free services designed to help prospective mothers and their babies including post abortion counseling. They issue free pregnancy tests, cribs, linens, baby furniture, car seats, infant carriers, infant clothing up to 12 months, maternity clothes and many other services.
Each year, on Mother's Day, St. James has a baby crib set up in the Church to collect items needed by mothers and babies.For several years, parishoners have donated baby items: clothes, formula, diapers,wipes, toys, furniture, etc. and placed them in the crib. Monetary donations seem to increase each year! Everything is donated to the Crisis Center, and is greatly appreciated.
This is a wonderful way to help mothers and babies in need.
