Fellowship
The dictionary definition of "fellowship" is: 1. companionship; friendly association 2) a mutual sharing as of experience, activity, interest 3) a group of people with the same interests; company; brotherhood.
At St. James Episcopal Church the definition of fellowship includes many activiies which enhance and strengthen our relationship as a Christian community and a parish family.
St. James is blessed to have a dedicated and tireless group of active members of the Fellowship Committee: Marilyn and Walter Baumann, Pam Elkins, Sandy Glover, Joan Grennan, Debbie Jennings, Elsie and Pam Jerbi, Nancy Latham, Ruth Patrignani, Jim Tobin, Mary and Ken Wintermuth. These women and men work hard to provide our parish with a variety of opportunities to gather together in Christian fellowship.
Some of our annual activities are: potluck lunches, receptions after special events such as the Messiah Sing, a champagne celebration after church on New Year's Eve, Lenten Series suppers, the Church Picnic and a Father's Day Brunch. Additionally, the Fellowship Committee organizes volunteers to provide refreshments at the coffee hour after the 10:15 service on Sunday morning. Honorary members of our committee are the men on St. James' world renowed "Biscuit Brigade", under the leadership of Phil Glazner. They provide delicious and lovingly prepared brunch for the parish one Sunday each month.

Please join your fellow parishioners for refreshments and fellowship in the Parish Hall following the 10:15 a.m. service each Sunday. If you are willing to be a host one Sunday a year, please contact me, Kathy Ballard at

All you need to provide are some donuts, sweet rolls or muffins, etc. and a SMILE! The coffee is already perked.
BISCUIT BRIGADE
Under the leadership of Phil Glazner, the Biscuit Brigade is a group of men from St. James who share fellowship by cooking brunch for all members of the church following the 10:15 AM service on the third Sunday of each month. They also cook for special occasions-- always a real treat! Interested men should contact Phil through the church office.
